Why Become an Arteco Artist?

Although the Arteco Gallery is not a "big city" art venue, we offer our artists benefits a big city might not. For example, we invite every artist we represent to participate in at least two group shows and the opportunity for a solo show as well.
As an exhibition gallery, we promote our events widely in the tri-state area including Washington, D.C., Baltimore, and Pittsburgh. Our shows are publicized in Maryland Life magazine and website, the Western Maryland Tourism Department's website www.mdmountainside.com and the Allegany County Getaway Guide. We also receive enthusiastic support from the Allegany Arts Council which announces our events in its weekly e-letter "ArtsFlash" and bimonthly newsletter among others. We participate in "Arts Walks" on Saturday evenings and host gallery receptions and open houses on Sunday afternoons.
