I make art to experience freedom. I look to nature as the source of my work and endeavor to honor and take pleasure in what I see and touch and what touches me. Through the process of interpreting a luminous quality of light, color relationships, and composition, I seek first to achieve flow and second to communicate. Over the years of creating visual work, my intentions and methods have varied; yet the one constant for me has been a true reverence for the beauty, power, joy and transcendence that I strive to share. |
